Riverslea, Stokesley

Designed a grid arrangement of beams to support a rear extension to the existing house. The new beams have allowed the side and rear elevation of the existing house to be removed. The structural design also included the support mechanism for the beams and the extension foundations.

The Foresters Arms, County Durham

Designed a simple beam to support a part pitched and flat roof where a load bearing wall is to be removed in the refurbishment of this public house. The design also included sizing the brick pillars and the foundations to support the beam.

Westgate Road, Newcastle upon Tyne

Undertook the steel beam calculations and the design of the beam to beam connections for the conversion of this four storey retail unit into flats. Also obtained building regulation approval for the calculations.
