Assessed a number of existing beams on this two storey, end of terrace house that need strengthening due to a change of loading to the structure.

Designed a grid arrangement of beams to support a rear extension to the existing house. The new beams have allowed the side and rear elevation of the existing house to be removed. The structural design also included the support mechanism for the beams and the extension foundations.

Advice on the design of a lighting gantry beam at the local community centre.

Designed a simple beam to support a part pitched and flat roof where a load bearing wall is to be removed in the refurbishment of this public house. The design also included sizing the brick pillars and the foundations to support the beam.

Designed a timber flitched beam to replace a defective timber bressumer beam, on the front elevation of a Grade 2 listed building.
